#YouAre

I was recently chatting with my coach about why I am so drawn to the 1940s type (black and white) photography. Besides the beautiful lighting and gorgeous contrast created from the type of film being used at the time, I absolutely love that era for the glamour, fashion and empowerment that emerged. Can you picture Joan Crawford, Ginger Rogers, Katharine Hepburn, Bette Davis, Rita Hayworth, Ava Gardner and Doris Day? The dresses, skirts, hats and gloves.... swoon. Women were visible like never before! To me, this era symbolizes the strength, visibility, poise and confidence that women embody, with beautiful captivating timeless elegance. My photography style is like a beautiful mix of "Breakfast at Tiffany's" meets Hollywood Glamour. It wasn't long before this era stood out to me and I knew I had to be a part of keeping it alive for modern women. I shoot boudoir because I believe boudoir is a feeling... how much or how little a woman wants to share of her body is up to her. Each woman will be seen as captivating and alluring, no matter what she is wearing. The focus is always on HER. I have found that women are ready for their boudoir shoot at different times. Some are more comfortable booking their boudoir shoot with a gift in mind for their loved one or maybe it is for themselves and the gift is a bonus to share with their loved one. I want you to know that this gift is really for YOU... it is empowering, freeing and can definitely be life changing. I want you to feel empowered, beautiful and confident. Today is always a good day to feel amazing and JUST BECAUSE is reason ENOUGH. You are worth it. #YouAre
